The Qanun was translated into Latin as Canon medicinae by Gerard of Cremona . (Confusingly there appear to have been two men called Gerard of Cremona, both translators of Arabic texts into Latin. Ostler states that it was the later of these, also known as Gerard de Sabloneta, who translated the Qanun (and other medical works) into Latin in the 13th century.) The encyclopaedic content, systematic arrangement, and combination of Galen's medicine with Aristotle's science and philosophy helped the Canon enter European scholastic medicine. Medical scholars started to use the Canon in the 13th century, while university courses implemented the text from the 14th century onwards. The Canon ' s influence declined in the 16th century as a result of humanists' preference in medicine for ancient Greek and Roman authorities over Arabic authorities, although others defended Avicenna's innovations beyond the original classical texts. It fell out of favour in university syllabi, although it was still being taught as background literature as late as 1715 in Padua.
One of the most pronounced effects in Equipoise is its ability to raise your RBCs (red blood cells). This is very typical of anabolic steroids; however, Equipoise would appear to do it to a slightly greater degree than most. One of the other effects most Equipoise users report is an increased appetite. I can say that this is true of me, also; this factor makes it impossible for me to diet on it. Its because of this ability to increase appetite that many will include Equipoise in a mass cycle, and its for the quality of muscle gained on it that many will include it in a cutting cycle. Its probably the most versatile injectable compound, next to testosterone. People even use a low dosed version of Equipoise to blend with irritating injectable drugs suck as testosterone suspension or Propionate. Im thinking of the old Ganabol version which was dosed at 50mgs/ml, here… its not that Equipoise is especially good to cut other steroids with, but the low dose and cost of Ganabol made it ideal to do this with, when sterile oil wasn’t available or desirable. This low dosed version was also very popular with women, who were comfortable shooting 1cc of this stuff every few days or every week.
On the . black market one of the most popular preparations as of late is the new Boldenon 200 from Ttokkyo. This is the highest dosed version of this steroid ever produced, and is likewise in very high demand right now. This is of course a tremendous improvement over the 25 and 50mg products circulating exclusively just a couple of years ago. Before the Ttokkyo product Denkall had introduced us to the 100mg version of their Ultragan product, which remains a popular and trusted item on the black market today. Ganabol from Middle and South America is also common, and is typical sold in 50 ml vials. However this steroid is also produced in 10, 100, and 250 ml versions. Available in both 25 and 50 mg/ml version, one would look for a large “50” on the label indicating the stronger product. Equi-gan and Maxigan from Mexico are also common as of late, and are acceptable. A 50m1 vial of either usually sells for $250-300 on the black market. Unfortunately the weaker 25mg/ml products are usually very close in price.
